Suneeti Jog, Ph.D.
ABOUT ME
I am a classically trained field botanist, plant taxonomist, and wetland ecologist with 25 years of field experience in wetlands, grasslands, and forests in eastern, midwestern, and south-central United States.

I have taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. My current research focus is on understanding, testing, and refining vegetation tools for wetland bioassessment. I have a passion for teaching, field research, and mentoring students. I am affiliate faculty with the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Science, Center for Global Studies, and the Program in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

I love to travel, hike, visit botanical gardens far and near, read fiction, and cook different cuisines.
